1. General Provisions
These terms of use establish the rules for using the website www.rigasziedi.lv, the rights and obligations of buyers and sellers, order processing, payment procedures, distance contract execution, and personal data processing.

By using this website, the buyer agrees to these terms. If the buyer does not agree to the terms, use of the website is not permitted.
2. Products and Services
Rīgas Ziedi offers cut flowers, flower bouquets, compositions, floristry products, and flower delivery in Riga, the Riga region, and other Latvian cities (using a partner network).
All products are fresh and made individually to order. Product images are for informational purposes, and the actual bouquet composition may slightly differ due to seasonal flower availability, while maintaining value and style.
3. Placing an Order
To place an order, the customer must provide: customer contact information; recipient's name and delivery address; delivery date and time slot; payment method; additional information for the courier/florist (optional).
The buyer may select the option "I wish to remain anonymous". In this case, the sender's name will not be disclosed at the time of delivery.
Each order includes a free greeting card, the text of which the customer can specify in the order form.
4. Delivery
4.1. Delivery Areas
Deliveries are made in Riga and the Riga region (e.g., Jūrmala, Ādaži, Mārupe, Piņķi, Ikšķile, Sigulda, Ogre, Ķekava, etc.), as well as other Latvian cities by individual arrangement (e.g., Liepāja, Ventspils, Daugavpils, Rēzekne, Valmiera, Cēsis, etc.).
4.2. Delivery Fees
Minimum delivery fee in Riga — €6. In some remote Riga neighborhoods (e.g., Vecāķi, Bolderāja, Jaunciems, Dārziņi, Rumbula), delivery fees are higher. The exact price is calculated in the order form after entering the address.
Outside Riga: €0.70/km, distance is calculated from Tallinas iela 83, Riga to the recipient's address.
Riga Airport: delivery price depends on the address, but if passenger meeting/waiting is required, an additional fee applies by individual agreement.
4.3. Delivery Times
Deliveries are made every day from 09:00 to 21:00. Available time slots: 09:00–12:00, 12:00–15:00, 15:00–18:00, 18:00–21:00.
Precise time delivery is also available (+€10). This is carried out by a dedicated courier, ensuring delivery at the specified time with minute precision.
Orders for Sunday delivery must be placed by Saturday 14:00.
4.4. Courier and Delivery Process
Delivery is performed by our own couriers. Delivery is made to: apartment doors; office premises; hospital rooms; schools, institutions, companies; any address without restricted access.
If the recipient is unavailable, the courier will contact the recipient or the customer to arrange an alternative delivery time or location. If the new address is significantly farther, an additional fee for the distance difference may apply.
Recipient privacy is respected: the courier does not disclose shipment details to third parties and does not reveal that the shipment contains flowers. The recipient is only told: "You have a delivery."
Delivery time slots are preferred times. Minor delays may occur due to traffic restrictions, weather conditions, or other objective circumstances.
5. Payment
Payment is possible by: bank card; online bank payment (Montonio); bank transfer; cash at the store if the order is picked up in person.
An order is considered accepted for processing only after successful payment.
6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law and Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 "Regulations on Distance Contracts", the right of withdrawal does not apply to: fresh flowers; flower bouquets and compositions; flower boxes and floristry products; goods that spoil quickly or have a short expiration date.
If a product is delivered damaged, of poor quality, incorrect, or not matching the description, the customer may file a complaint within 24 hours by writing to: birojs@rigasziedi.lv.
7. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
In case of a dispute, the buyer may submit a written complaint. The seller will respond within 15 days.
If the dispute is not resolved, the consumer may contact: the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC); the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
8. Personal Data Processing (GDPR)

8.2. What Data We Process
We process the following personal data: name, surname; phone number; email address; delivery address; order content and comments; payment information (card data is not stored — it is processed by the payment service provider); IP address and cookie information.
8.3. Purposes and Legal Basis for Data Processing
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- Order fulfillment and delivery (legal basis: contract performance, GDPR Art. 6.1.b)
- Payment processing (legal basis: contract performance, GDPR Art. 6.1.b)
- Customer support and communication (legal basis: legitimate interests, GDPR Art. 6.1.f)
- Accounting and tax compliance (legal basis: legal obligation, GDPR Art. 6.1.c)
- Website analytics, e.g., Google Analytics (legal basis: consent, GDPR Art. 6.1.a)
8.4. Data Retention Periods
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the processing purpose or to comply with legal requirements. Accounting documents are retained for 5 years in accordance with Latvian legislation. Marketing consent data is retained until consent is withdrawn.
8.5. Data Recipients
We may transfer personal data to: payment processing service providers (Montonio, banks); couriers for delivery; IT service providers (hosting, email); analytics service providers (Google Analytics); government authorities if required by law. Data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
8.6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

10. Final Provisions
The seller has the right to unilaterally amend these terms of use by publishing them on the website. Orders are subject to the terms in effect at the time of placing the order.
These terms are drawn up in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, including the Consumer Rights Protection Law, Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 "Regulations on Distance Contracts", the Personal Data Processing Law, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).
